What does Intimate mean?

My use of "Intimate" is based on the Italian word "Intimo", which has a slightly different meaning from its English equivalent.

"Intimo" describes the deepest, most secret place in your soul, and it can represent the most profound connection between individuals or oneself.

The "tocco intimo" (intimate touch) is only for the people most close to you and it's not sexual: it seeks connection and meaning. Sharing your intimate space means sharing a place of mutual comfort and vulnerability, where you feel safe.

To me, intimate means personal, emotional, confidential, and unique.

It means finding empowerment in being vulnerable and genuine, by connecting to your true self and your inner child without restrictions.
